    Accreditation:

    Bethel University is FAFSA approved

    Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) since 1959


    Flexibility:

    Credits may transfer in or out at any time


    Cost:

    $11,500 per year (August–May)

    Based on 15 credits per semester + 3 practicum hours

    Plus books and materials

    Paid to Bethel University


    Time Commitment:

    20–25 hours per week

    On-campus: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday | 9am–12pm

    Includes coursework, mentoring, leadership development, and experiential learning

    Exceptions reviewed case-by-case


    Additional Expectations:

    Active involvement in a local church

    Bethel coursework completed during scheduled Flex Time

  • Certificate Track

    TWO-YEAR MINISTRY & LEADERSHIP CERTIFICATE

    Certificate from Union Chapel

    Formed in faith and equipped through experience

    Experiential learning

    Leadership development

    Not connected to college coursework


    Cost:

    $1,500 per year (August–May)

    Paid to Union Chapel


    Time Commitment:

    12–15 hours per week

  • What is the School of Ministry & Leadership?

    The School of Ministry & Leadership is an experiential learning community based at Union Chapel in Muncie. Students grow through biblical teaching, spiritual formation, leadership development, and hands-on ministry experience.

  • What programs are offered?

    We offer two tracks:


    1. ‍Undergraduate Track – Earn an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in partnership with Bethel University.
    2. ‍Certificate Track – Earn a two-year Ministry & Leadership Certificate from Union Chapel.
  • What degrees are available in the Undergraduate Track?

    Students may pursue Associate or Bachelor’s degrees in areas such as:

    Undergraduate Track:

    $1,500 per year (August–May), paid to Union Chapel.
