Get the scoop on the lastest news in the life of our church!
As a reminder, our worship services will be held online only this weekend through the end of year. At that point, we will reevaluate what steps should be taken. You can tune in to our online services on Sunday at 8:30am, 10am, and 11:30am. We look forward to worshipping with you even though we have to be apart!
There's still time to submit your Faith Promise! God has got some great things in store for us, and we want to continue moving forward with the tasks that He has placed on us. You can submit your Promise online here. The Best is Yet to Come!
Sundays at 8:30am, 10am, and 11:30am in the Worship Center.
The front doors to the Worship Center will open 10 minutes before each service.
Online services will be available Sundays at 8:30, 10 and 11:30am.
Reservations are not required, however due to CDC recommendations, a member of our team will electronically check you/your family in at the door.
For touchless check in, we will be using a smartphone app called Church Center. Prior to arriving on campus, simply download the app (Keyword search Church Center) and select Union Chapel as your home church. If you are not tech savvy, we have prepared both an instructional video and written instructions.
If you do not have a smartphone or cannot download the app, do not worry, we can use the last 4 digits of your phone number, the app simply expedites the check in process.
Seating will be managed in accordance with CDC recommendations. Due to this, we ask that family units and those wishing to sit together, gather all members together outside the main Worship Center Entrance prior to check in.
Due to Governor Holcomb's mask mandate, facemasks are required. Our staff and volunteer teams will be wearing masks and we encourage you to take care of others by bringing yours as well.
Yes, we will sing in our services.
Overflow seating will be available on campus with the live streamed service on screen.
Kids and Preteen ministry (Infant - 6th grade) will remain closed when we resume on campus services. We will continue to evaluate this decision on an ongoing basis and resume as soon as we possibly can. Overflow seating and a family friendly area will be available.
According to state guidelines, “Hoosiers 65 and older and those with known high-risk medical conditions should adhere to social distancing guidelines and remain cautious at work and in their communities.” We encourage those in those categories to use your best judgement on returning to worship gatherings at Union Chapel. Please also note, we are offering our 8:30 service exclusively online and will stream live the 10 and 11:30 services.
Everyone will exit using the doors directly behind the stage. Dismissal will be staggered in order to allow for social distancing. While not in a formal manner, we do ask that you exit your row after those seated immediately in front of you leave their row.
Contact us digitally on the Union Chapel app or look for a Pastor on your way out of service.
The coffee shop will be closed when we resume services. All water fountains will be turned off in accordance with CDC recommendations. Bottled water will be available at the Welcome Center.
Staff and volunteers will be cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces before and after each service. All high-volume areas and hard surfaces will be thoroughly sanitized, as well as, the restrooms. We use hospital-grade sanitizing solutions and an electrostatic sprayer that allows us to thoroughly and safely disinfect seating and surfaces in minutes. For personal use, additional hand-sanitizer stations are available throughout campus.
Anyone who is sick or displays COVID-19 symptoms as defined by the CDC, should stay home and participate in one of our online gatherings.
If you are not ready to come back, we understand. We are in a time of great change and life is far from normal for most people. If you and/or your family are uncomfortable attending an in-person gathering at this time, we encourage you to continue to connect with us online.
We are currently suspending our times of greeting (introverts, rejoice!) in our services and encouraging verbal greetings and friendly waves.
We are so excited to welcome kids back onto our campus. Things will look a little different, so please be sure to watch the video above and read the FAQs here.

We know that many of you are relatively new to Union Chapel, and we would love to have a proper introduction. Join us for DISCOVER this coming Monday night at 6pm for an informal ZOOM meeting. We'll share our history, mission, and vision, and talk about ways you can get plugged into volunteering, and small groups. If you'd like to participate, let us know by sending an email to info@unionchapel.com, and we'll send you the ZOOM link!
