Core Classes

Registration Information

Registration is required for each class. Registration occurs for two weekends prior to each Core Class in the church lobby. On the day of your class, please arrive 5-10 minutes early to check in at the tape counter in the lobby. Childcare is not available.

Once you have registered for a class, materials and lunch are purchased for you, please call the church office (288-8383) and ask for Carrie if you are unable to attend.

Core Class 101 - Knowing Christ

This class offers basic introduction to the Christian faith as well as Union Chapel's unique strategy. Learn about our vision and core values, explore the structure of the church and discover what the true meaning of membership is all about. Facilitated by Pastor Gregg Parris.

Core Class 201 - Growing in Christ

This introduction to growing in Christ covers topics including Bible study, prayer, connecting in small groups, tithing and other basic disciplines of the Christian life. Prerequisite 101. Facilitated by Pastor Glenn Greiner.

Core Class 301 - Serving Christ

This class helps you get plugged into ministry by discovering what your spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality and experiences mean to the way you serve. Many people who have taken this class never knew that serving Jesus could be so effective and fulfilling.
Prerequisite 201. Facilitated by Pastor Dave Neckers.

Core Class 401 - Sharing Christ

You have a story that needs to be told. Discover how to tell your story with confidence as you embark upon becoming a World Class Christian, impacting this world for Chirst. Prerequisite 301. Facilitated by Ted Baker.
