CLASSES WILL BE IN SESSION FROM
February 13th
THRU April 16th
6:30-7:45 p.m.
CLASSES
Kindergarten Class
Room 204
Jesus used real-world objects - a mustard see, a fig tree, a lost coin - to teach His disciples the truths that would chang ethe world. With Hands-On Bible curriculum your kindergartener will be taught as Jesus taught, using fun surprises children can touch, see, and smell to reveal eternal truths they won't forget.
Music Class
Room 102-104
Children will learn to minister through song. They will learn the music and dance for the worship during the Jerusalem Market place experience for 5 weeks leading up to and including Easter 2008 in JC Junction. Jerusalem Market Place participants will be the Sunday School and JC Junction students for the 5 weeks.
Friendship First Cooking Class
Fellowship Hall Kitchen
Together kids will:
¨ Meet new friends in a fun, welcoming way!
¨ Make and share a snack
¨ Complete Daily Challenges
¨ Discover and grow a friendship with Jesus
Eating together creates special ties. Sharing food culturally is not just important today; it was important in Bible times as well. Sharing food was the primary means for celebrating and enhancing community ties. In the New Testament, it is notable that Jesus is defined as a "friend of tax collectors and sinners" precisely by his act of dining with them.
Reaching Our World
Room106
God longs to share his love with everyone. How can we help? In the Reaching Our World Class kids study the lives of ministries of Bible-time and modern-day missionaries. By getting to know these heroes of the faith as people who serve God, kids learn that they too can be missionaries in their own neighborhoods. These foundational themes will be covered:
¨ Meeting Modern Missionaries
¨ Getting Others on Board
¨ Hearing Gods Call
The current Breakout groups will continue to meet every Wednesday until April 30th.
