Dear Potential Children's Ministry Leader,

We are excited that you want to check out the Children's Ministry at Union Chapel Ministries. This section will help to introduce you to the many opportunities available within our ministry. We want to help you find where you can use your God-given gifts to invest in the lives of children. Your first step to getting involved will be to attend a Children's Ministry New Leader orientation.

Also, we have positions available as (paid) Child Care Leaders during the week! If you like teaching children and are looking for a new way to serve, come join our Child Care team! You can help shape the lives of young children while thier parents attend a Union Chapel program or event. Benefits include: flexible scheduling, ability to bring your children (preschool and younger) with you while you work and to be a part of a close ministry team of teachers--a ministry with in a ministry! First, let me ease your mind about a few things:

You don't have to be an expert.
Each member of our Children's Ministry team has one thing in common: a passion for children. If you have a heart to love God and a desire to work with children, then you have the two basic ingredients necessary to become a leader in children's ministry. You do not need a degree in early childhood development or elementary education to be a great leader in Children's Ministry. We will equip and train you for your ministry. You do not need all the time in the world.
You can successfully minister to children with a minimal time commitment. We have many ways that you can minister to children in a time frame that will work for you! During the weekend services, in just an hour and a half each week, you will be able to form relationships with children and their parents that will communicate love and value, not only from you, but also from God.

You will not be alone.
You will be supported in your ministry through the Children's Ministry staff and leadership team. Various training sessions in each department are designed to encourage, equip, energize and empower you for ministry. You will not be a lone ranger in your ministry to children...guaranteed! You will receive training as part of our application process.

It will be exciting to watch God at work in you and through you as you minister to the children of Union Chapel.
