Interest Groups

An Interest Group is a group that meets to do an interesting activity. You can bring friends, co-workers and neighbors in order to build meaningful relationships and reach out to those outside of Union Chapel.

Description:  Get together to fellowship, share cooking techniques and trade recipes. Some demonstrations will be given. We want to make cooking fun for all. Everyone is welcome!

Goal:  Everyone eats.  Most cook.  We want to share our secrets, share our strengths and learn new ways to cook, entertain & have fun at the same time.

Auto Mechanics

Description:  A group of people that get together to learn and share their interest in cars and trucks. We help others in need and projects are encouraged.

Goal:  Meet new people, learn from their experiences, share resources, exchange ideas and have fun with others while working on cars.

When/Where:  In the bus barn, behind the church, the second Sunday of each month at 4:00pm.

Bowling League

Description:  A group of Christian bowlers getting together each week for fellowship and to enjoy bowling.

Goal:  To form a group of Christian bowlers and reach out to others who enjoy bowling.

When/Where:  Tuesdays from 8:30pm - 10:00pm at Rose City Bowl in New Castle.

Euchre

Description:  A group for those who enjoy playing Euchre.

Goal:  To make new friends who enjoy a common interest.

When/Where:  Monthly, on a Saturday at host homes.

Martial Arts

Goal:  Enhance your balance, coordination and concentration while increasing your physical fitness.

When/Where:  Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in Room 102.

Motorcycles

Description:  Men and women who are interested in learning about motorcycle safety, riding and touring.

Goal:  To develop a group of men, women or teens who are interested in learning how to ride safely and who enjoy the fellowship of each other while riding or talking about motorcycles.
